How Kirkmayer Industries OÜ collects, uses and protects personal data.
Last updated: October 23, 2026
1. Who we are
This website (the “Site”) is operated by Kirkmayer Industries OÜ (“Kirkmayer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in Estonia, with registered office at Tööstuse tn 86, 10416 Tallinn.
Kirkmayer Industries OÜ is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal data, you can contact us at:
- Email: office@kirkmayer.com
- Postal address: Pardiloigu tn 5, 11712 Tallinn.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us when you interact with the Site, specifically:
- Contact and quote request forms: name, email address, phone number (if provided), company name (if provided), the product or application you are interested in, and the content of your message.
- Automatically collected data: Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, records which pages are viewed, the website that referred you, your browser and device type and your country — without cookies, and without storing your IP address or any identifier that could recognise you on a later visit (see Section 5). If you also accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects technical data about your visit, including your browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay on them, the website that referred you, and your approximate location (country or region). Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. With the same consent, if you reached the Site by clicking one of our Google Ads, the identifier of that ad click is stored so that Google Ads can tell us whether the visit led to an enquiry.
- Server logs: like any web server, the one hosting the Site may record the IP address, time and page of each request in technical logs, which our hosting provider and we use only for security and troubleshooting.
We do not process payments or sell products directly through this Site, and we do not knowingly collect financial or payment card information through the Site.
3. How we use your data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to enquiries and quote requests submitted through our forms.
- To evaluate and follow up on business/distribution partnership requests.
- To analyze how visitors use the Site, in order to improve its content, functionality, and user experience (via Umami, and via Google Analytics only with your consent).
- To measure how well our Google Ads campaigns work, by counting how many enquiries they bring (only with your consent). We do not use your data to show you personalised ads.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and Google Ads conversion measurement.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for anonymous, cookieless usage statistics (Umami), and for responding to business enquiries and evaluating potential distribution partnerships.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Sections 5 and 9).
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses Umami, an open-source web analytics tool, to count visits and to see which pages are read, where visitors come from and which devices they use. Umami sets no cookies and stores no IP address or other identifier that could recognise you on a later visit; it keeps aggregate statistics only, stored by Umami Cloud on servers in the European Union. Since nothing is stored in your browser and no personal data is retained, it runs without asking for your consent.
The Site also uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Site — but only if you agree. On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept Google's cookies. Until you accept, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set; the Site works fully without them.
With the same consent, Google Analytics also shares with our Google Ads account whether a visit that came from one of our ads ended with a submitted contact or quote form. This tells us which campaigns bring enquiries; it is not used to show you personalised ads or to build advertising audiences, and the content of your form is never sent to Google.
You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of this Site, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Which cookies the Site uses, and for how long, is listed in our Cookie Policy.
Google Analytics data is processed by Google and may be transferred to servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United States. Where such transfers occur, they are carried out under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by Google.
6. How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, under contractual obligations consistent with the GDPR: Hostinger (hosting of the Site, on servers in the European Union); Resend (delivers the messages you send through our forms to our mailbox); Umami Software, Inc. (Umami Cloud, which keeps the Site's anonymous visit statistics on servers in the European Union); Google (Google Workspace, which hosts our email, and Google Analytics and Google Ads, if you have consented).
- Public authorities, where required by law.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers (such as Google) may process personal data outside the EEA, including in the United States. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to protect your personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Enquiries and quote requests: for 6 months from the last interaction, or longer if necessary to pursue a business relationship.
- Analytics data: Umami's statistics contain no personal data; Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured there, and no longer than 14 months.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, if you are located in the EEA (or otherwise where applicable law grants these rights), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Request restriction of processing.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including for direct marketing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Estonia, the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee), or with the data protection authority in your own EU member state.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at office@kirkmayer.com.
10. Children’s privacy
This Site is intended for business (B2B) audiences and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
